The Valamis UK team (and a couple of Finns!) are headed to London for one of the biggest events in our industry. We welcome you to come and meet the Valamis team or check out a personal demo on both event days at stand F65.

Busting Career Myths and Creating Career Activists
At Learning Technologies 2022, our speaker session will be presented by Sarah Hobbs, Managing Director at Talent & Potential and content curator for Valamis’ career platform, CareerBurst. In this session, Sarah will explore how facilitating career development can, at times, feel like an unsolvable riddle. Based on extensive research, this seminar considers new approaches to career management whilst busting some career myths along the way.
In this session, you will learn:
- Traditional approaches to career management, their shortfalls, and some possible alternatives
- Ways to use career support to retain rather than lose people from your organisation
- How to challenge some of the career myths that still pervade among our employees
- If whether technology might be part of the answer to the conundrum
